Getting connected

How do I connect my OTV to Wi-Fi?

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
  2. Select Network & Internet and press OK.
  3. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
  4. Type your password with the on-screen keyboard, then select the tick.
  5. Your OTV connects in a few seconds.

How do I connect a Bluetooth device?

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
  2. Scroll down to Bluetooth and press OK.
  3. Put your device in pairing mode, then select it from the list.
  4. When the pairing request appears, choose Pair.

How do I check my internet speed?

  1. From the home screen, scroll down and open Apps Market.
  2. Go to the Tools category.
  3. Select Speed Test and press OK to install it.
  4. Press Home and scroll down to find the app.
  5. Press OK to open it. In a few seconds you will see your internet speed.

Apps

How do I download apps?

  1. From the home screen, scroll down and open Apps Market.
  2. Pick a category, then select the app you want.
  3. Press OK and confirm to install it.
  4. Press Home and scroll down. Your new app is there, ready to open.

How do I delete an app?

  1. On the home screen, scroll down and highlight the app you want to remove.
  2. Press the Menu button, then choose OK to uninstall it.
  3. Or use Settings: open Apps, then See all apps.
  4. Pick the app and select Uninstall, then choose OK to confirm.

How do I lock or unlock an app?

  1. Press the Settings button and scroll down to AppLock.
  2. Enter your password. The default is four zeros.
  3. Select the app you want to lock. From now on it asks for the password before it opens.
  4. To unlock it, go back to AppLock and select the app again.

How do I change the background?

  1. From the home screen, press Up to reach the top bar.
  2. Move right to the Background Images icon and press OK.
  3. Choose the picture you like and press OK.
  4. Your new background is applied in a few seconds.

How do I turn the screensaver on or off?

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
  2. Scroll down to Device Preferences and press OK.
  3. Open Screen saver, then select When to start.
  4. Choose Never to turn it off, or pick a time to keep it on.

How do I change the time zone?

  1. Press the Settings button and open Device Preferences.
  2. Select Date & Time, then Set time zone.
  3. Scroll to your time zone and press OK.
  4. Go back to the home screen and select the Refresh icon at the top right. The new time appears within a minute.

Keeping it running

How do I clear the cache?

  1. From the home screen, press Up to reach the top bar.
  2. Move right to the Cleaner icon.
  3. Press OK. Your OTV clears its cache in seconds.

How do I factory reset my OTV?

  1. Press the Settings button and open Device Preferences.
  2. Select About, then Factory reset.
  3. A factory reset erases all your apps and settings. If you are sure, choose Erase everything and confirm.
  4. The reset takes three to four minutes. Do not unplug the box while it runs.

What is OTV Prime 11000?

OTV Prime 11000, often called the OTV 11000 or simply the OTV box, is a 4K HDR Android TV box and media player. It runs Android 14 with Google Play built in and has a quad-core processor, 4 GB of memory, 16 GB of storage, dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.0 and a Bluetooth remote. Does OTV provide TV channels, movies or a streaming subscription?

No. OTV makes the box and its remote. We do not provide any TV channels, media streaming subscriptions or services, or any other audio-video content, and we have no affiliation with any third-party providers.

Smart TV

Can OTV make my regular TV a smart TV?

Yes. Plug the box into an HDMI port on any television, connect it to the internet, and the TV gains an Android home screen and apps. Our guide shows how to make a non-smart TV smart.

IPTV

Is OTV an IPTV box?

OTV Prime 11000 is an Android TV box with Live TV, VOD, catch-up and Favorites screens, so it can be used as an IPTV player with a service you already have from a provider. OTV itself does not provide any channels or subscriptions. Read what an IPTV box is.

Remote

How do I pair the remote?

For pairing, long press the “OK” and “VOLUME UP” keys for 3 seconds and wait for the red LED indicator to start blinking. “OTV Remote” will appear in “Remotes & Accessories”.

Storage

Can I add more storage?

Yes. 16 GB of storage is built in, and it is extendable up to 120 GB with an external USB drive plugged into a USB-A port on the side of the box.

What comes in the box?

The OTV Prime 11000 box, the Bluetooth remote, an HDMI cable, an Ethernet cable and a power adapter.

Set-up

How do I connect it to my TV?

Plug the HDMI cable into the box and into your television, connect the power adapter, and switch the television to that HDMI input. Older televisions without HDMI can use the AV output on the back of the box. Then connect to the internet with Wi-Fi or the Ethernet cable.

Internet

Can I use a wired internet connection?

Yes. There is an Ethernet port on the back of the box and an Ethernet cable in the box. Plug it into your router for a steadier connection than Wi-Fi.

What do I need for 4K and HDR?

4K requires a compatible 4K TV and content. HDR requires a compatible HDR TV and content. Such content is not available on all audio-video streams or files, so please check with your service or content provider for availability.

What is the default AppLock password?

Four zeros (0000). The AppLock guide shows where to enter it.
